Carson Palmer was spelled by Drew Stanton after he hit his throwing hand on the helmet of Connor Barwin. Palmer was shown on the sidelines getting his index finger taped, and throwing. Cardinals fans were praying that this was not a debilitating injury, as the team was similarly cruising last year until Palmer and Stanton got hurt, and everything they had worked for was submarined by Ryan Lindley. Thankfully, Palmer returned to the game on the ensuing series, Arizona scored a touchdown, and all appears to be alright.
