Carey Price missed 10 of the Canadians’ 13 games in November. After missing 9-straight games from October 30th to November 19th, Price returned for three games, but left a win between the 2nd and 3rd periods on November 25th. Now the 28-year old netminder will miss another six weeks because of a related lower-body injury. He will have his knee scoped today.

So what happened to the star goalie? He stepped on a puck while warming up for a game on October 29th according to a weekend report on SportsNet. (Jump to the 1:40 mark of the video) Price still played that game, surrendering 4 goals on 27 shots in a Canadiens loss to the Oilers. Hopefully Price will be able to return around the All-Star break. The Canadiens are currently in 1st place in the Eastern Conference despite the fact that their star goalie has played in less than half the team’s games.
