Red Schoendienst, 92, is a special assistant coach for the St. Louis Cardinals. As of 2015, he has spent 70 years wearing an MLB uniform as either a player, coach, or manager. As a fitting tribute to the Hall of Famer, the Cardinals commissioned this god-awful rap parody. Schoendienst was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1989, the year after the original version of “It Takes Two” by Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock was released. No video exists, but I’m guessing the original was played during Schoendienst’s induction. There’s no other explanation for the creation of one of the lamest videos ever. [Big League Stew]
