Camera Suspended on Cables Above Olympic Park Crashes to Ground, Injures at Least Two People

Two fans were injured when a large camera suspended on cables above the Olympic park broke and fell into a crowd on Monday afternoon in Rio. According to USA TODAY, two people were lightly injured. Reuters says “at least three people” were injured and one was taken away on a stretcher. The camera reportedly belongs to the IOC’s official broadcasting unit.
