Bus Carrying Media Members Shot At In Rio, Two Injured
A bus carrying media members in Rio to cover the 2016 Olympics came under gunfire after leaving an event venue Tuesday night. Multiple reports claim the bus was hit several times, with windows smashed, but no one seriously injured.
The bus was leaving the basketball venue en route to the main Olympic park when two shots hit the vehicle. Windows were shattered and the glass left two people with minor cuts.
The Twitter account Hoopfeed had the blow-by-blow of what happened and provided details:
A #Rio2016 media bus was just shot at. From Lee Michaelson: 2 windows blown out. None hit, 2 sustained minor injuries from broken glass.

6-Once bus was out of range and away, police arrived. Officer didn't talk to anyone or offer assistance to the 2 guys injured.

8-Lights inside bus were on as it made way from stadium, usually liked b/c buses have wifi & folks can work. Not good in this situation.
