Bubba Watson Scoffed at a Fan's Advice While on His Way to a Travelers Championship Win

Bubba Watson won the Travelers Championship after he birdied the second hole of a two-hole playoff against Paul Casey. The win is the eighth of Watson’s career and the second at the Travelers. One of the best moments of Watson’s round came on the second hole on Sunday when, after hitting a shot right of the fairway, a fan advised him to hit a low four-iron. Watson scoffed at the idea and instead hit sand wedge over the tree to about four feet. After the shot, he turned to the crowd and pointed out to the fan that that is the reason he is on that side of the rope.
