Brooke Henderson, an 18-year-old Canadian, won the Women’s PGA Championship in spectacular fashion. Henderson shot a final round of six-under par to tie two-time major champion Lydia Ko and send the tournament to a playoff. During her charge up the leaderboard, Henderson made two clutch putts on the back nine of the final round that set up her chance for a playoff.

This putt from off the green on 11 was absolutely ridiculous.

Then Henderson drained another long putt for birdie to tie Ko on the 17th hole.

Both players hit great drives on the replay of the 18th hole in the playoff, but Henderson pulled off a spectacular second shot that set her up with a fairly easy birdie putt from just inside of three feet.

Henderson’s putt denied Ko, who is only 19 and was trying to become only the fifth player in LPGA Tour history to win three majors, that opportunity.

"“I think it’s great,” Ko said of Henderson’s win. “I think it’s great for the Tour. And it’s good for the women’s game.”"

Henderson became the youngest winner of the championship and the second youngest to win a major champion behind none other than Lydia Ko.

Here’s what the leaderboard looked like at the end of the day.
