College football reporter Brett McMurphy was laid off from ESPN in April. He continues to do what he does best: break news. His latest scoop? Scott Frost’s seven-year deal at Nebraska.Steve Levy referenced the report during today’s UCF-Memphis telecast and appeared to forget McMurphy was no longer with ESPN.
Seems like an honest mistake made while trying to give a guy proper credit, which is far better than the alternative.
