By Ty Duffy

Just found out from NCAA office we can't go to IMG open practice because in NCAA football it's a quiet period ?

Bret Bielema pledged to go to Michigan’s open practice at IMG. He can’t because it would be an NCAA violation. Michigan can practice at a high school facility. But, because it is a recruiting dead period, Bielema and staff cannot visit a high school campus.
"“This normally happens during a bowl game where you’re in another city and you maybe need to use a high school facility to practice but now it’s also available to do this kind of stuff,” Arkansas senior associate AD Jon Fagg told SiriusXM College Sports Nation. “So you can go to campus to practice, but you can’t go to campus and attend a practice because any visit to a high school campus for a coach automatically counts as an evaluation for every student athlete at that institution.”"
Fortunately, Bielema and Mark Dantonio can still enjoy a friendly lunch at the destination of their choosing.
