Brandon Marshall had two big catches on what ultimately became a touchdown drive for the Bears. First was a marvelous juggling catch that required a substantial amount of athletic ability and concentration, and later was a first down reception on 4th-and-7. Coming down on the second reception, though, Marshall took a knee to his back from Barry Church. After being down on the field for a commercial break, Marshall headed to the locker room for further diagnosis. It didn’t look good, but hopefully it is not an injury that is too serious.

UPDATE: Marshall has been taken to the hospital for a rib injury sustained on this play.

UPDATE II: Marshall sustained two broken ribs and was successfully treated for a collapsed lung, according to Adam Schefter, who also reports that the Bears receiver is out for the year.
