New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is suspended for the first games of the regular season. Unproven Jimmy Garoppolo will be under center for the first quarter of the year.
Some people in sports media have been suggesting that Brady is in danger of losing his starting job. Or, at the very least, crowd-sourcing the odds such a thing could happen.

Belichick’s frustrated answer this morning suggests he disagrees with Max Kellerman’s “Brady is going to be a bum in short order” take. And that’s fine. Debate is to be embraced.
