Betty Cantrell Named Miss America After Calling Tom Brady a Cheater

Heavy is the Miss America crown. It comes with great power and great responsibility. As such, it’s imperative we as a public know as much about these contestants as possible before handing it out.
Sunday night, Betty Cantrell (Georgia) was grilled on herDeflateGate stance because there’s no escaping the important issues on Pageant Night. She channeled her inner Roger Goodell and took a hard line on Tom Brady.
Analyzing the path she took to come to the conclusion the Patriots quarterback cheated is not advised. Let’s just say it’s meandering.
Her take immediately rendered her unwelcome in the Northeast. More importantly, though, it impressed the judges enough to earn the title of Miss America.
Don’t for one moment forget we live in a great country, folks. Anything can and does happen.
