Ben Roethlisberger was active for today’s game, but Landry Jones started with Roethlisberger–who was not even expected to play–nursing the foot injury he suffered last week. Well, it took less than a quarter for that decision to have Roethlisberger as the backup to be put to the test. Landry Jones got his foot/ankle stepped on, and he could not even walk off the field without assistance. The play happened on third down, so the Steelers kicked a field goal and don’t have the ball yet.

But Landry Jones is going to the locker room riding in the cart. Roethlisberger was up throwing, and will have to come into the game. Roethlisberger going to attempt to have his Willis Reed game here.
