Belgian Midfielder Junior Malanda Killed in Car Accident in Germany

Sad news out of Germany today that 20-year-old Wolfsburg midfielder Junior Malanda died in a car accident on Saturday. Details of the accident remain scant, but the Associated Press reports the Belgian youth international was a passenger in an SUV which went off the road and died at the scene.
From the AP report:
"German daily Bild reported on its website that the 20-year-old Malanda was a passenger in the back seat of a Volkswagen Touareg that went off the motorway and crashed into a tree near Bielefeld."
Numerous teammates of Malanda tweeted their sympathies in the wake of the terrible news, including countryman Kevin De Bruyne who also plays for Wolfsburg.
