Will Sievers is the student manager for Vincennes Rivet High School (Ind.). He also has in-the-gym range.
Sievers knocked down a half-court shot during halftime of a recent game to send the crowd — and himself — into a joyous frenzy. In addition to the standing ovation and internet fame, he received an indeterminate “cash prize.”
It was a feel-good moment for many reasons but the important takeaway here is that Vinny Johnson’s shooting form lives on.
