Bartolo Colon Took a Comical Spill on Way to Mets Clubhouse
By Kyle Koster

Bartolo Colon, baseball’s most beloved heavyweight, is a dynamic entertainer. He can make anything interesting. From team picture day to running the bases, the New York Mets pitcher knows how to deliver a compelling performance. So it should be no surprise that he turned in a bit of physical comedy while walking to the clubhouse after Game 2 of the National League Championship Series.
The spry 42-year-old showed no ill effects from the fall. And with just two wins between Colon and his first World Series, it’s going to take a hell of a lot more than an exposed grate to stop him.
