Miami 86, Chicago 96, OT: Derrick Rose shot 1-of-13, and with the Bulls needing a hero in the waning seconds … CJ Watson emerged. A triple over Wade sent the game to overtime and propelled the Bulls to victory. The Bulls reserves outscored Miami’s bench 47-7. Nobody outside of Miami’s Big 3 scored in the 4th quarter or overtime. Guess the Heat have fallen out of love with rookie Norris Cole – in the last 23 games, he’s scored in double figures just three times. He got a DNP-CD in this game. The Heat are just 5-6 in their last 11 games. Wait for the replay on this LeBron block. He looks like a shark leaping out of the water. What an athletic freak.

Detroit 109, Charlotte 85: That’s 14 losses in a row for Michael Jordan’s Bobcats. Gerald Henderson got a tech for either asking for the and-1, or saying something to Jason Maxiell (who clearly fouled him).

Memphis 97, San Antonio 107: Tough loss for the Grizzlies, who fall 1.5 back of the Clippers for the 4th seed. But being on the road in the opening round didn’t really hurt them last year, so perhaps it isn’t that big of a deal.

LA Clippers 95, Minnesota 82: Because it’s all about Blake Griffin … he missed a dunk, and then threw two down. He had 19 points and 13 rebounds and flourished with Kevin Love sitting out (concussion). Griffin should send something nice to JaVale McGee, because if Love had played, he would have got the better of Blake for the third time this season.

Dallas 103, Golden State 112: Tank on, Warriors. They’re now 22-36, and tied with the Pistons for the 8th worst record. New Jersey is 21-38, but has five of seven left against playoff teams. The Warriors should give David Lee (30 points) some rest, right? Love the hops on Roddy Beaubois. I look like him here … on an 8-foot hoop.
