Austrian Goalie Scores Goal From Inside Own Penalty Area [Video]
By Mike Cardillo
Hannes Leo, a goalie, scored this incredible length-of-the-field goal for his Austrian club USK Piesendorf in a Berndorf Cup match. Usually when keepers score its when they come up late in the match on a corner kick, or from the penalty spot. This time Leo caught his opposite number out and launched a dropkick that went all the way across the field for a goal.
Nice job, Hannes. Now do it again.
You’ve got a long way to go to catch Paraguayan hero Jose Luis Chilavert in the goalie goal-scoring department.
