Aussie Football Fan Compares Bad Season to JFK Assassination

The Australian Football League completed their regular season over the weekend. The Richmond Tigers finished their 8-14 season with a 113-point loss to the Sydney Swans. This was apparently way too much for one fan to handle. The fan, Mario from Doncaster, called in to an SEN sports radio program to compare himself to Jackie Kennedy after the JFK assassination.

Now, this could just be a PFT Commenter-esque act, but either way, what a tremendous sports talk radio call. Starting anything with the words “When President Kennedy was assassinated…” sets an incredibly high bar of hyperbole. [JUNKEE]
