Andrew Luck is hurt. And injured. Luck missed two games earlier this season with a reported shoulder injury. On Sunday, Jay Glazer reported that Luck had been playing through multiple fractured ribs. If true, the Colts would be violating NFL rules about properly filling out the injury report. Embattled Colts’ GM Ryan Grigson released a statement saying the Colts injury reports were accurate.

Reporters are now asking the Colts about Luck’s ribs. The Colts are giving non-answers. Remember, you can’t call someone a liar if they don’t answer “yes” or “no” to a yes or no question. Right?
I just asked Andrew Luck: Did you break ribs this year? He said: "I don't know. I'm not going to get into that right now."

Here’s the thing. If you have broken ribs, they hurt. If you’re star quarterback in the NFL and your body hurts, you talk to the team doctor. If you have broken ribs, the doctor tells you that your ribs are broken. If they are not broken, the doctor is supposed to tell you why you hurt. Therefore, it stands to reason that Andrew Luck would know if Andrew Luck had broken ribs. Or maybe the Colts doctors just have such strict doctor-patient confidentiality, that the doctor doesn’t even tell the patient.
