In an interview with The Courier-Journal, Espinoza said:
"“At the wire I was like, ‘I cannot believe I did it …I (won) the Triple Crown race now, but I didn’t make any money, because I donated my money to the City of Hope.”"
On a day where Victor earned the right to be as selfish as he damn well pleased, it’s pretty awesome to see the fame hasn’t changed him — as helping others has always been, and appears to always be, his biggest priority…
