Allen Iverson Hall of Fame Speech: It's Incredible. You Should Watch it Now

Allen Iverson was inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame, and gave a powerful speech that is highly recommended. For reasons I can’t quite explain, I’ve never got into Hall of Fame speeches. Rarely watch them or dissect them or give them an ounce of thought. For some reason, I felt compelled to watch Iverson’s speech, and he didn’t disappoint.

It probably has something to do with Iverson growing up a couple hours south of me at around the same time, so I tracked his high school career intently, and his time at Georgetown, as well.

As I said on Speak for Yourself Friday, Iverson is one of the most authentic athletes of my time.
