This story about Auburn and Alabama coaches having a dance-off during the 80th birthday party for the grandfather of five-star recruit Rashaan Evans is probably embellished a little bit, but it’s fun to imagine the scenario at its most absurd — here’s the scene described by Evans’ father to Matt Scalici at Al.com:

" “As we went in, we were pulled left and right all night from Auburn to Bama. The coaches shook hands and talked but you could tell they were there for one thing and one thing only. Then the live band started playing and the Alabama and Auburn coaches hit the dance floor. It was unbelievable. I just couldn’t stop laughing.” "

The relevant parties supposedly included the entire Auburn staff, as well as Alabama assistant Kirby Smart and a few of his cohorts. There was apparently loud cheering, and we can only hope and pray that any Vines that emerge do not ruin our imaginations of this vibrant scene.

That being said, could anything possibly have surpassed Nick Saban’s boogying down on the electric slide?
