Adrian Peterson Posted a Rant About His Alleged Contract Demands

On Friday, there was an ESPN report saying Peterson was asking for $8 million a year. Peterson, in a long rant on Twitter, denies that report:

Whether the report was accurate or not, that doesn’t look like the words of somebody who is truly feeling at peace with his professional prospects. He can say it’s not about the money all he wants, but he is a player who is accustomed for playing for over $10 million a year, and he ain’t coming anywhere close to that going forward. We will see if he is actually willing to accept a job laden with incentives that still top out around $6 million or so.
