Aaron Hernandez Indicted for Murder of Odin Lloyd, Will Now Move Toward Trial

This is not unexpected. The prosecution already laid out their case in the initial hearing that charged Hernandez. They would have either had to present their evidence (and allow the defense to cross-examine) at a probable cause hearing, or get a Grand Jury Indictment, where they could present the evidence behind closed doors without Hernandez.

The next step should be the march toward trial. According to Michael McCann, it could be next spring.
