Most internet headlines are describing the above event as a Los Angeles Lakers fan abandoning his team to jump on the Golden State Warriors bandwagon. That could be what happened, but allow me to offer another theory.
This guy has no rooting allegiance and simply bought souvenir jerseys for two California-based teams. That’s it. He’s just a man who wanted a Kobe Bryant jersey and a Steph Curry jersey — and not a scathing indictment of fickle Lakers fans everywhere.
