A-Rod Lawyer Says Yankees' Star has 'Absolutely Not' Taken PEDs Recently

Alex Rodriguez has “absolutely not” taken any PEDs in recent years his lawyer, Joe Tacopina, told CNN earlier this week. Given all the parties involved here, you definitely have to take Tacopina and A-Rod at their word, right? Shut it all down. Case closed.

In the CNN story, Tacopina also reveals the A-Rod legal team paid over $300,000 for evidence in his grievance hearing to try to discredit the MLB investigative team. Lovely.

Rodriguez’s hearing, which stems from his 211-game suspension issued by baseball in August, is on hiatus until mid-November. At the rate they’re going, maybe it drags all the way until Spring Training. By then, everyone will probably be so exhausted by the tedium that they drop the suspension and let A-Rod take his rightful spot manning third base in the Bronx.

Either way, it should be fun to see what sort of leaked information A-Rod and his team have in store for the next week. As we know, based on his track record Rodriguez loves to steal the spotlight from the Fall Classic whenever possible.
