Ndamukong Suh Continued His Thanksgiving Tradition, Kicked Matt Schaub in the Nuts
Ndamukong Suh brings the Foot to football on Thanksgiving Day. Last year, it was the Stomp. This time around, he is spinning around and plants a cleat right into Matt Schaub’s groin, extending the foot. I’m sure it was totally unintentional and his foot didn’t fly out slightly to make contact. He naturally falls like that.
At least that’s what Phil Simms believes. Being the parent of four kids, I recognize the attempt at the intentional contact while trying to pretend it’s unintentional. No way the foot goes out like that after he initially makes contact. I suspect Suh may get another visit with Roger Goodell, starting his own Thanksgiving tradition. The eye in the sky don’t lie.

Kubiak botched the two minute warning. He is so frustrating.

Jason,
Was that the longest NFL FG attempt not on 4th down? (obviously ignoring those kicks taken as the clock was running out at either the end of the game or halftime)

Definitely missed a good game. Had thanksgiving dinner at 1 then I napped for a good solid 2 hours.

Good thing Schaub was wearing his Kotex.

Suh had at least 2 dirty shots on Schaub yesterday. The horse-collar-like take down after a pass was questionable.
Even though they’re essentially insignificant, the Lions are so easy to hate.

Could the Lions have had worse coaching? That series at the end when they had the ball in decent position but really needed another 10 years – run twice and then kick a FG?
NFL coaches that go into a shell when they get to the other team’s 30-35 near the end of the game or in OT are just shooting themselves. I’ve seen this time and again this year in college and pros. What is up with that?
If you are on the 10 or 15 yard line, or perhaps even 20, fine. run it twice and then kick it. But, a 48 yarder? Hardly a gimmie. What lack of confidence does it show in your QB and offense as a whole that you shut them down as well?
Schwarz should have been grilled for that more than for throwing the flag on the TD (and that rule – how ridiculous is that?).
