Mike Brown: Teenage Son of Lakers’ Coach Receiving Death Threats on Twitter After LA’s 1-4 Start
You’ve got to be a pathetic, heartless individual to fire up twitter and then attack the high school son of an NBA coach because your favorite team is struggling. Seriously, who does that? From the OC Register:
some fans’ ire Wednesday was directed at Brown’s son, Elijah, who plays basketball at Mater Dei High. The Lakers coach, though, had no idea his son had received threats on Twitter despite having a friend monitor his son’s account.
Elijah, a 6-foot-3 senior guard for California-power Mater Dei, is a mid-major D1 prospect. He has offers from James Madison, Akron, Toledo and Kent State, among others.
Steve Blake’s wife Kristen rushed to Elijah’s defense when she saw what was happening.
Leave Mike Brown’s son alone. What’s wrong with u people?! Stop attacking FAMILIES! How would you feel if YOUR family was treated like that?

Lakers, Eagles, Cowboys, Red Sox, JETS.
Can the media PLEASE report on teams that deserve the attention instead of piling on the popular teams that suck and don’t deserve the attention? Like K State, Texans, Falcons, baseball Giants, etc..
/except Notre Dame

Take it easy on Laker fans. They haven’t won a title in nearly 3 years now, 90% of their fan base will stop attending games if this goes on much longer.

ESPN’s to busy trying to make people forget Mickey Loomis and Bernie Fine.

Tonight on Sportscenter, the Texans dont have a QB controversy, KStates players are not getting death threats, and the Falcons are not discussing firing the coach. Stay tuned for all these exciting things that dont exist.

In what sense? Is he dating Mike Brown’s son and you’re commenting on this kid’s attractiveness?
