Subway Plans on Getting Rid of Their Cookie Surplus in Buffalo This Fall
The Buffalo Bills lost to the Washington Redskins tonight, giving up 7 points while managing just two field goals. It was a preseason game, so this isn’t the end of the world. There was at least one thing we can take away from Buffalo’s first home game of the season – this coupon that appears in the Bills program that promises a free cookie if the Bills score less than 20 points. Oh.
Assuming this coupon is in every program this season, should we assume that Subway has high expectations for the Bills offense? Last season Buffalo started 5-2 and scored 20 or more in every game, but after that, they finished 1-8 and only cracked the 20-point mark three times. They only broke 20 three times at home last year.
So does Subway have a bunch of cookies they need to get rid of this fall in the Buffalo area? Or do they think the Bills will recapture last year’s early season glory and not a single coupon will be redeemed? I bet they have a bunch of cookies.

Wendys makes a similar gamble in Columbus. They give chili away if the bluejackets score 3 goals. They didn’t give away much chili this year.

So in that scenario they only would have had to give away cookies 6 out of 16 times? Not so bad. That defense should make their offense look even better this year.

If they ran that promotion this year, they’d run even less.

they’d run even less = give away even less.

Coooooookies!
They do have offensive weapons. Not a bad bet for Subway. I like this.
