Roy Helu’s Imaginary Twin Brother Robert Helu Featured on Redskins Season Tickets
Roy Helu, Jr. is finding out the hard way just how replaceable running backs in Mike Shanahan’s system are. If the Redskins’ season tickets are to be believed, he will be replaced by someone named Robert Helu, Jr. by Game #5. Having been screwed over by Mike Anderson, Reuben Droughns, Quentin Griffin, and Selvin Young over the years, I cannot completely rule out this possibility.

I’m pretty sure Aaron Rodgers was wearing a White Walker shirt on SC…..

I’ve designed and collaborated with vendors on the design of sports and special event tickets. This is a level nine f-ck up. You would have gone back and forth with the vendor at _least_ 3-4 times, not including internal reviews.

I thought part of the trade for RGIII is that everybody on the Redskins is now named Robert

yeah a typo or date/time/place error could only be worse. a lot poor design here though. too much red, shitty fonts, bad photos (see glare on helu mask, the white rg3 sleeve on the white ring, the fact that the III in RG3 is an inconsistent font, low-gloss, the fact that Helu might not be starting by week 5.
Plus, there are some way better things you can do. You can use one large photo that goes across all the tickets, change up the look by ticket. This vendor looks really shitty. I’d guess a local vendor that might not specialize in tickets? If it’s one of the vendors that specializes in tickets, they are just stealing money from the Skins.

No money in that. I had dual roles with communcations work (again, no money). But that design work is worse for pay, and you get idiots thinking they can advise or freelance b/c they once did a CD jacket design for their cousin’s shitty band.

But you gotta have some good photogs. Managing them and convincing them to take the photos you need for support material, vs. the photos they want to take, is a constant battle.
