Mike Francesa Says Tweeting Should Be Against the Law
All, Fat, Media Gossip/Musings, Twitter May 15th. 2012, 3:25pm
Our favorite reasonable talk show host, Mike Francesa, has weighed in on Twitter. He’s not a fan, and is for big government intervention.
“The fact that broadcasters, media people and athletes are allowed to tweet–which should be against the law–is a big change. Okay, it should be against the law, ‘cuz no one needs to hear from any of them.”

Well, that’s a new one.
May 15th, 2012 at 3:34 PM
What prompted him to say this?
May 15th, 2012 at 3:34 PM
I watch Mike on YES on occasion and two things never fail to surprise me.
1. Mike’s ridiculous hairline
2. Mike’s enormous torso

I cant tell if his hair is combed down onto his forehead or if it is combed back and his hairline starts halfway down his forehead
May 15th, 2012 at 3:38 PM
Sounds like someone is disappointed that no athlete has tweeted any cock pictures his way.

Legit though, you’d start to feel totally alone without erroneous dong sexts. It could change you, make you want to be a better man.

i agree on the basis i think twitter is ultimately white noise of social media, but if that same logic was applied elsewhere sport radio would have been outlawed decades ago.

Actually some do. Particularly if they’ve been in a mainstream film.

Mike’s just cranky that Noonie has been sent down. He is a good hittuh that could take over for Jetuh when Jetuh moves to Left field which his sources tell him, is where he will be play as he gets olduh.,

you go back far enough and most posts don’t have any comments or have just one or two by random people.
some of those posts are the equivalent of embarrassing baby pictures.

Nada – maybe a Honda Shadow w/some miles on it. Not sure how big you are. You can probably pick one up pretty cheaply. I’d definitely go used to see if it’s something you like, then upgrade later. The cruiser types are certainly easier to start with, and much lower insurance payments.
May 15th, 2012 at 4:28 PM
i’ve been taking a look at that one. i’m about 6 foot 200 lbs long legs so i’m a bit worried your basic 250cc bike would be a little small.
May 15th, 2012 at 4:33 PM
maybe I’m mixed up – the bike I’m thinking of is a 750. I wouldn’t get anything smaller for an adult male – sounds like we’re the same size. And obviously I replied to the wrong person . . .
May 15th, 2012 at 4:39 PM
no, you’re right the Shadow is a 750
i’m still trying to wrap my head around how vastly different each engine can be in the same displacement range based on the build.
hoping to know by the end of the summer what’s affordable
May 15th, 2012 at 4:46 PM
I started with a Honda Nighthawk 750 – it was plenty quick, even through the mountains here (Colorado). You can probably find something to get you through a couple of years for well under $1500.
May 15th, 2012 at 4:53 PM
Why do you need to take your bike for a ride in the car?
May 15th, 2012 at 4:53 PM
cool, thanks. I’ll keep an eye out in that displacement range, too.
May 15th, 2012 at 4:55 PM
Scratch that, it’s all making sense now.
