Kentucky – Louisville Fans Fight at Dialysis Center, Cops Called
There is no way that Saturday’s Final Four game between Kentucky and Louisville will be as intense on the court as it is in the minds of the fans. It’s a bitter rivalry that should lead to plenty of fights, but I doubt anyone saw this coming. According to WKYT in Kentucky, two fans got into a fight at a dialysis center when they went in for treatments. Warning: Puns ahead.
Officers were called after a UK and UofL fan gave each other a full court press during treatment at the Georgetown Dialysis Clinic Monday.
“He just happened to think UofL would beat UK and he started to run his mouth,” explained dialysis patient Ed Wilson. Wilson also happens to be a self-proclaimed die hard UK fan. “That’s what started it.”
But Charles Taylor, who was waiting to get hooked up to a machine saw things differently. “I didn’t talk to him about the ball game; I was talking to another guy about the game,” The UofL fan exclaimed. “He was meddling. And told me to shut up and gave me the finger!”
Taylor hit Wilson and police were called. No charges were filed. We can’t be far from a Bingo Hall Brawl somewhere in the heart of Kentucky this week. If you see any other incidents of UK – U of L violence, please, let us know.

That being said, I’m really surprised that this fight is the only story of its kind that has made the news. This state is truly walking on eggshells right now. Tensions are high but no one wants to either make the state look bad or be the tipping point.

More shocking is this didn’t happen at a diabetes clinic.

Fantastic.
However, I sure hope the gal that wrote this up is a recent grad. I’m not sure if she could fit more basketball references into the short article.
In fact, police are calling it a flagrant foul.
a UK and UofL fan gave each other a full court press
Both men admit they were in the zone, but never anticipated there’d be a power forward.
