According To Tim McCarver, “Strike” Is A 5-Letter Word
It’s Game 1 of the World Series and everyone wants to impress, including FOX’s Tim McCarver who tried to show both his spelling and counting prowess at the same time. That was a bad decision. His spelling remains immaculate, but his counting leaves something to be desired. Mainly, accuracy.

I get why they let John Madden leave on his own terms but McCarver’s not in that class. Time to replace him with someone that understands baseball outside of the dead ball era. Certainly wouldn’t make the ratings go lower.
I can’t wait for the post on the ratings of game 1.

He is so terrible. That was a great game last night, but yet difficult to watch all because of McCarver’s diarrhea of the mouth.
