NFL training camp videos usually generate excitement heading into a new season. Every now and then, however, one surfaces that has fans questioning just how prepared a team really is.
Thatâs exactly what happened this week when a video from Arizona Cardinals practice began making the rounds on social media. NFL Memes shared the clip on X, joking that the Cardinals could legitimately go 0-17 this season. While thatâs obviously an exaggeration, itâs hard not to laugh after watching the footage.

Practice clip goes viral
The video quickly caught the attention of NFL fans because of how sloppy the practice appeared.
Instead of showcasing crisp execution and a team building chemistry, the clip looked more like something out of a sports comedy. It resembled the classic movie scene where a new coach arrives to evaluate his roster, only to discover a group of players making mistake after mistake.
Whether itâs a fair representation of the Cardinals or simply one unfortunate sequence from practice is open to debate, but it certainly didnât inspire much confidence.

Expectations already low
The timing of the video only adds to the growing skepticism surrounding Arizona.
The Cardinals managed to win just three games last season and now enter another difficult year in one of the NFLâs toughest divisions. With three legitimate contenders standing in their way, Arizona faces an uphill battle nearly every week on its schedule.
Some oddsmakers already have the Cardinals with the lowest projected win total in the NFL for the 2026 season, so expectations couldnât be much lower.
One viral practice video wonât determine how many games a team wins, but it certainly hasnât done anything to quiet concerns about Arizonaâs outlook. If the Cardinals hope to prove the doubters wrong, theyâll need their play on Sundays to look far better than what fans saw at practice this week.
