The 2026 VMAs are in the books, after an entertaining awards ceremony at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday night. While Taylor Swift and her historic night were the main attraction, Tyla did her part to steal the show on the red carpet.

Tyla pulled up to the venue to flaunt her look on the red carpet, and delivered in a big way.

The two-time Grammy Award winner had everyone turning their heads when she strutted onto the carpet in a stunning two-piece look complete with snakeskin accents.

Tyla was wearing a peice from the Mowalola 2027 Spring Ready-to-Wear collection. The owner and founder of the Mowalola brand is Nigerian-British fashion designer Mowalola Ogunlesi.

The look perfectly fit Tyla and allowed her to show off her signature abs, and the low-rise skirt was true to her style. She accented the look with a turquoise choker and beige snakeskin heels. Tyla had to turn up for the VMAs on Sunday night, because she took the stage as a presenter later in the night.

Earlier this year, Tyla dropped her sophomore album, A*Pop.

She has also become a figure in the fashion world with some high-profile appearances and impressive looks, including looks from Italian luxury fashion house Valentino at the Met Gala and the fall/winter 2026 show in Rome. We’ll have to see where Tyla pops up next.
