Winning games in the NFL is never easy, but defeating every franchise in the league at least once is an accomplishment reserved for the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game.

Over the course of NFL history, only four quarterbacks have managed to beat all 32 teams. What’s even more remarkable is that all four legends spent time playing in the league at the same time, creating one of the greatest generations of quarterback talent football has ever seen.

The exclusive club

The only quarterbacks to defeat every NFL team are:

  1. Tom Brady
  2. Brett Favre
  3. Peyton Manning
  4. Drew Brees

Each of these future Hall of Famers enjoyed lengthy careers filled with playoff appearances, division titles, Super Bowl win(s) and countless signature moments. Their longevity gave them opportunities to face every franchise, but consistently winning against all of them is what truly makes this achievement so special.

A testament to greatness

This list isn’t filled with one-hit wonders or quarterbacks who simply played for a long time. Brady, Favre, Manning, and Brees combined for multiple Super Bowl championships, MVP awards, and virtually every major passing record during their careers.

Brady is widely considered the greatest quarterback in NFL history, while Manning revolutionized the pre-snap game with his football IQ. Favre became known for his toughness and gunslinger mentality, and Brees rewrote the NFL record books with his pinpoint accuracy and consistency.

As quarterback play continues to evolve, it’s likely more players will eventually join this exclusive club. But for now, only these four legends can say they’ve defeated every NFL franchise.

It’s another reminder that some of the most impressive accomplishments in football aren’t always the ones that receive the most attention—they’re the ones that require excellence over an entire career.
