Snoop Dogg is turning this year’s NFL Christmas Day into a full-blown music event.

The biggest twist in Snoop Dogg’s halftime show is that, during the Christmas Day game between the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings, Snoop Dogg’s Holiday Halftime Party will feature appearances from HUNTR/X singing voices Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami.

Per reports, country star Lainey Wilson is also set for a special performance, giving the halftime show a genre-spanning lineup that blends hip-hop, pop, and country on a national stage.

The game kicks off at 4:30 p.m. ET, with the halftime performance airing live on Netflix as part of its NFL Christmas Gameday coverage. The Lions vs. Vikings matchup already carries playoff implications in the NFC, but the halftime announcement adds another layer of buzz to a game.

The last time Snoop Dogg appeared for the NFL half-time show as an artist was for the Super Bowl LVI in 2022. That halftime spectacle featured a star-studded lineup led by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar, with 50 Cent making an unannounced appearance and Anderson .Paak is joining as a guest performer.

Netflix, meanwhile, continues to lean into spectacle as it expands its live sports footprint.

Christmas Day football already comes with built-in attention. And adding Snoop Dogg and a diverse music lineup ensures this Lions vs. Vikings game won’t just be remembered for what happens on the field, but also for how the NFL continues to reshape the game-day experience.
