Well, that’s embarrassing. A couple of NBA reporters were caught swooning over players’ looks during Sacramento Kings media day on Monday afternoon.

Viral audio that is making the rounds online captures some unnamed reporters discussing former sports anchor and reporter for Sacramento’s KOVR, Sara Hodges, before the conversation turns to the players.

Ben Simmons and Zach LaVine got some shoutouts for being “hella fine” and “cute,” with one reporter complimenting Simmons for his skin routine. For LaVine, it wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies, because his personality allegedly needs some work, per the unnamed reporter who’s going to regret the comments.

“I think his personality annoys the sh*t out of me, so that’s what makes him [inaudible],” the reporter said, as transcribed by AwfulAnnouncing.com “Zach’s cute. His personality f*cking annoys me. He just seems like hella like a prick.”

Sacramento News Station Cuts Live Stream Of Media Day After Hot Mic Goes Viral

The hot mic gets the best of ’em, but you have to be more conscious about what you’re talking about in the media room. Ultimately, the livestream from Sacramento NBC affiliate KCRA that was picking up the voices was abruptly cut, and a new stream was started.

This is the day and age of the internet, though, so the audio is going to live on forever.
