Alexander Zverev Attacks Umpire Chair at Mexican Open

Alexander Zverev lost his mind at the Mexican Open on Tuesday. The German tennis player was participating in a doubles match with Brazilian Marcelo Melo against Lloyd Glasspool and Harri Heliövaara in an elimination round. Zverev apparently got so frustrated with the officiating that he smashed his racket against the umpire chair multiple times after a set.

Further consequences are undoubtedly coming in the near future. Although the umpire should get a raise. He took all that in stride.
