Sochi Olympics: You May Want To Stick With Bottled Water

The Sochi Olympics cost more than every other Winter Olympics combined. Shockingly, none of that beneficence went toward curbing illegal landfills, which have polluted the Sochi water supply. That golden-tinged beverage above, tweeted by the Sporting News, is not apple juice. You definitely want to avoid drinking that. You may want to avoid bathing too vigorously with it. We won’t even get into the potential for a widespread Hepatitis outbreak.
Fortunately, the competition ice, at least, is going through water treatment facilities.
