Skylar Diggins ran into a wall during the Tulsa Shock’s 2-point loss to the Seattle Storm on Sunday. Late in the 2nd quarter Diggins was blindsided by a Crystal Langhorne pick that put her on the floor. It was violent, but it was more legal than any pick Kevin Garnett has set in the last 15 years. Not sure if size (Diggins is 5-foot-9, 145 pounds; Langhorne is 6-2″, 185) or starpower played a bigger part in the call. Either way, Diggins’ teammates need to do a much better job protecting her in the future.
