Randy Moss: "Somebody Needs to Be Fired" Over NFL Hall of Fame Game Gaffe

ESPN’s newly revamped Countdown crew had the honor of discussing the debacle of the field not being ready for this evening’s previously scheduled Hall of Fame Game between the Packers and Colts. Charles Woodson called it an “embarrassment,” while Randy Moss was more severe.

“Somebody needs to be fired,” Moss said. “Somebody needs to lose their job over this field. It’s a lot of money invested, a lot of football fans waiting for the start of the preseason. I looked forward to seeing the undrafted free agents. Now we don’t get to see that. Somebody needs to lose their job over this.”

Moss’s point is harsh, but it’s not wrong. This game happens every year and it’s inexcusable for the field not to be ready.
