Pablo Sandoval Benched For Liking Woman's Instagram Photos During Red Sox Game

Barstool blogger Jared Carrabis noticed Pablo Sandoval liked a couple photos from this Instagram account during Wednesday night’s Red Sox game in Atlanta. The team found out. He apologized and was benched for Thursday’s game, via violation of the team’s social media rules. Considering the Red Sox are 28-39 this might not go over too well, even if this is mostly harmless especially in context of the six-month, 162-game baseball season.

Figure that stuff like this may become more commonplace going forward across all sports, since everyone is (unfortunately) addicted to their phones. We also saw Instagram likes become a semi-issue with Jadaveon Clowney (or at least enough of one for a blog post) during the last NFL season.
