Bodine was a question mark entering the 2014 scouting combine, then he measured in at 6-foot-3 and 310 pounds while posting the top bench rep mark in his class (42).

The Bengals took him in the 4th round. He was in Cincinnati through 2017, then spent a year each with the Bills, Patriots and Lions. He was released by Detroit after the 2020 season.
