Mark Zuckerberg gave a lengthy interview on the Lex Fridman Podcast on Saturday which has generated headlines like "Mark Zuckerberg Says He is 'Aware' He Will Die Someday, Discusses Meaning of Life." But is death really the worst thing that could happen to us? If you're at all like Zuck and myself, you're probably much more concerned about Metaverse drip and whether your virtual t-shirt in the would still fit if you changed your avatar to a dragon.
Imagine being in an important virtual meeting and all your co-workers see is your naked dragon torso. Embarassing! Am I really going to spend my hard earned crypto on an NFT (non fungible t-shirt) that won't fit if I change from a Mii to a dragon?? And when I change back to a humanoid will my shirt still be ripped from where my wings were sticking through?
We're so lucky that Zuckerberg and the rest of the Meta team are thinking about this stuff.
