Marcus Stroman signed with the Chicago Cubs this offseason and, judging by his Twitter activity, he's clearly thrilled to be done with the New York Mets. On Tuesday, he lit up the Mets and took a shot at their new general manager Billy Eppler.

Here's what he said:

Eppler was the GM of the Los Angeles Angels from 2015 to 2020. In that time, he made some big-money signings like Justin Upton, Anthony Rendon and Andrelton Simmons. He also pulled off the signing of Shohei Ohtani and handed Mike Trout an enormous contract. But despite all that spending, the Angeles never reached the postseason under his watch. He was fired after the 2020 season.

Despite those failures, the Mets snapped Eppler up as their general manager in November, signing him to a four-year contract. It was certainly a puzzling move for the Mets, and Stroman agrees.

It's nice to know that even during a lockout, MLB can provide us some drama.
