Manny Ramirez signed a minor league player/coach deal with the Cubs’ AAA affiliate. He’s at the Cubs’ extended spring training facility in Arizona, where he reportedly hit a 450-foot home run (and knew it when it left the bat). Manny is looking trim. He has found the lord. He’s a long way from a team picking him up as an extra bat for the stretch run, but we can hope.
