Leonard Fournette: First SEC Player to Rush for 200 Yards in Three Straight Games

By Michael Shamburger

Leonard Fournette became the first player in SEC history to rush for 200 yards in three straight games.

Fournette had 26 carries for 235 yards and three touchdowns and averaged nine yards per carry against Eastern Michigan on Saturday night. He helped lead LSU to a 44-22 victory.

Despite having multiple games over 200 yards, Fournette still hasn’t broken the LSU single game rushing record set by Alley Broussard in 2004 against Ole Miss.
