Kobe Bryant Made a Clutch Shot (and went 4-20) in His First Official Retirement Tour Game

Kobe Bryant officially announced his impending retirement on Sunday with a poem in The Players Tribune. He then followed that up with a special note to fans who attended last night’s Pacers – Lakers game. And for his encore, he made 4 of 20 field goal attempts in a Lakers loss. There was one brief shining moment as he hit a tough three over Paul George to bring the Lakers within 1-point late in the game. That one got the announcers, fans, and even Kobe feeling briefly warm inside.
Alas, the Lakers lost. And Kobe finished with just 13 points.
